XOPLAY Privacy Policy

1. XOPLAY app camera access

XOPLAY states the camera is not used for any purpose other than to check the AR content, or store images; and this policy will not change in the future.

2. The purpose of processing PI

XOPLAY processes PI for the following purposes, and this app does not require any membership registration or provision of PI. However, the android advertising ID given to users for the purpose of advertisement and analytics on Google Play is provided to ‘Google AdMob’ for in-app advertising and ‘Google Analytics’ for usage analytics. The responsibility for such procedures lies with ‘Google AdMob’ and ‘Google Analytics’.

XOPLAY strictly complies with Google Play’s guidelines regarding Android Advertising ID, and does not store or deliver information to any other app, including the XOPLAY server. User analytics data is completely anonymized by ‘Google Analytics’.

3. Collection of user environment information

XOPLAY collects user’s environmental information for service management and analytics.

• PI subjects : Age, app store, app version, country, device brand, device category, device model, first run time, gender, interests, language, new or existing member, OS version
• Collection method: Google Analytics
• Reason for retention: Analysis for service management and service provision
• Retention period: 3 years
• Related ordinance: Records on collection, processing, and use of credit information: 3 years

4. Processing and retention period of PI

• XOPLAY processes and retains PI within the period of retention and use of PI is in accordance with the law or within that agreed upon when PI is collected from the information subject.
• Each PI processing and retention period is as follows:

1. <Provision of goods or services>

PI related to ‘Provision of goods or services’ is retained and used for 3 years from the date of consent for collection and use.

– Basis of retention: Analysis for service management and service provision.

– Related ordinance: Records on collection, processing, and use of credit information: 3 years.

2. <Use of marketing and advertising>

PI related to ‘use of marketing and advertising’ is retained and used for 3 years from the date of consent for collection and use.

– Basis for retention: analysis for management and provision of service

– Related ordinance: records of collection, processing, and use of credit information: 3 years.

5. The subject of PI who has rights and obligation may exercise the following rights

• Request opening of PI
• Request for correction (if there is an error)
• Request deletion of PI
• Request to stop processing

6. Process (or collection) of PI

XOPLAY processes the following PI items:

2. <Use of marketing and advertising>

– Age, app store, app version, country, device brand, device category, device model, first run time, gender, interests, language, new or existing member, OS version

7. Termination of PI

In principle, when the purpose of processing personal information is achieved, XOPLAY terminates the personal information without delay.

8. Protection supervisor of PI

XOPLAY Co. appoints the person in charge who handles and protects PI as follows for the management of complaints and remedies for the PI subject related to the processing of data.

9. Alteration of privacy policy

• This PI processing policy will be applied from the effective date. If there are any additions, deletions, or corrections in accordance with laws and policies, we will notify you 7 days before the enforcement of the changes.
• This privacy policy will be effective from March 7, 2021
